The Greenman's
This is my family - all six of us in our family portrait. My Daddy gots five girls!

We live in Michigan, except for Brianna, who just lives here in the summer. My family
is very special to me and we all love to do things together.

My Mommy runs the Greenman Homeschool Academy (Daddy says its for wayward
girls, but I think he is just joking. And he isn't really a rag-picker is he...?) I love to learn
and sometimes Mommy says it is hard to keep up with me. Daddy keeps saying I will
end up at MIT, but I don't know what he is talking about. Can we go for a bike ride now?

I can read! I love books and my daddy reads to us every day - sometimes I read to him.

Raising Special Kids
Daddy works hard to take care of all of us. Cosette has bipolar and autism spectrum
disorder and she takes medicine for asthma and for her tummy, too. Brianna takes asthma
medicine, and medicine for her tummy and sometimes for anxiety. I take breathing
medicine and medicine that goes up my nose and I have to have my neocate. Aja too. And
Aja has to do lots of special exercises and has to wear the braces on her feet. Our family really
is very special!

A Helpful Site
If you are raising special kids here a site that will help: raising-special-kids.com This is a great
place to go for information on where to start and what to do should you find that you also have
a very special family. My Daddy says that Raising-special-kids.com is the website that he
WISHES he would have had when he first got involved with the "system" many years ago.
Solid practical advice based on experience with my own family, as well as years as an advocate
and peer support for families raising special kids. I had to learn most of it the hard way, so I built
this site to try to pass on some of the lessons - so you don't have to!
