I've Got Chronic Urticaria

I've got Chronic Urticaria with both Cold Urticaria and Cholenergic Urticaria which
means I have to be very careful with both heat and cold. The doctor told me that is
why I was always so itchy and got hives all over.

I would get all itchy and start to break out every time I would run around and start
getting hot, or when I got in the bathtub, or when I went into the water at the lake. I
was always so hot and itchy and I didn't like it one bit!

My Treatment

Now I get to take my "special medicine" every night and I am feeling much better. I

don't get so itchy and hot all the time! I still need to be careful to gradually get used to
temperatures, and to wear clothes that I can take off before I get too hot - and now I
have to carry an Epi-Pen injector just in case. I don't like shots!
